Sample Assets
A collection of sample material for demos, tests and tutorials: datasets, images, video, audio and documents, named consistently and free to redistribute. The structure and the naming rules are in place, and the files are being added folder by folder.
About this project
Sample Assets is a collection of sample material — data, code, images, video, audio and documents — kept in one place so that a demo, a test, a tutorial or a prototype never stalls on the search for a file to feed it. Every developer accumulates the same scattered pile: a spreadsheet somewhere in the downloads folder, a placeholder photo borrowed from a blog post, a document that happened to be lying around. This is that pile, organised, consistently named and free to redistribute.
Data sits under a folder per format — CSV, JSON, SQL, TSV, plain text, XML and YAML — and code under a folder per language, fifteen of them from C to TypeScript. Images are split into photographs, illustrations and interface icons, while video, audio and documents each have a folder of their own. Every folder carries a README saying what belongs in it, which formats it accepts and how its files are named.
It holds no code to install and nothing to import: what it offers is files to take. The structure is in place and the assets are being added over time, so a folder that is empty today is waiting for its content rather than missing it.
